Marco Ryan was born in the UK, but now lives in Cairo, Egypt with his wife and young family. His professional career as an eCommerce Strategist, Digital Marketing expert and speaker is covered on his work blog, www.marcoryan.com, but it ensures endless travel and sadly insufficient time for one of the more creative forces in his life - photography. His passion is for travel reportage, especially recording the more humanitarian aspects of life. His time based in Cairo has allowed an unparalleld and privleged view into the lives of ordinary Egyptians.

Cairo Photo Studio is a commercial photography studio run with his Egyptian business partner, Ramy Salem, and focuses on Fashion and Product work. Cairo Photo Tours is Egypt first specialist Photography and workshop tour company, special design in ethically objective photo workshop and tours, that help contribute to the communities that the workshops visit. Cairo Photo Services provides support to the other 3 companies, but also is the first company in Egypt to represent ThinkTank photo and X-rite Color Management
